Who We Are
Egoli Africa Uganda is a community-based organization in Kamuli District that empowers youth and women through practical skills training, education, health support, clean water solutions, and sustainable livelihoods.
Since 2010, we have worked alongside local communities to address unemployment, poverty, and limited access to opportunity. Our approach is practical, local, and focused on long-term change

Education & Skills Training
We provide hands-on vocational training in tailoring, hairdressing, catering, mechanics, carpentry, sandal making and ICT. These skills enable them to start businesses, gain employable and build independent futures
Health & Community Support
We improve health, dignity, and access to essential services in rural communities.

Why Our Work Matters
In rural Uganda, many young people grow up without access to education, skills, or job opportunities. This leaves them trapped in a cycle of poverty with little hope for the future.
Young women face even greater challenges, including early marriage, unemployment, and limited independence.
Without intervention, these challenges continue from one generation to the next.
At Egoli Africa Uganda, we believe that every young person deserves the opportunity to learn, work, and build a better life.

A Life Transformed
Babirye Betty joined Egoli Africa Uganda as a student in our hairdressing and beauty training program. With determination and a strong desire to change her future, she fully embraced the skills she learned.
Today, Betty is a successful entrepreneur, running her own thriving salon. Her business provides quality services to her community while enabling her to support her family and improve their living conditions.
Beyond her personal success, Betty is now giving back. She trains and mentors other young women, equipping them with practical skills and confidence to start their own journeys.
Her story is a powerful example of how vocational training can transform lives, create sustainable livelihoods, and strengthen entire communities.
