Our vocational training programs equip young people and women in Kamuli District with hands-on skills they can use immediately to earn an income, start a business, and build a better future for their families.
Our Vocational Training Programs
We offer 10 practical skills programs designed to create employment, build businesses and transform lives in rural Uganda.
Tailoring & Fashion Design
Students learn sewing, garment cutting, fashion design, and entrepreneurship skills for self-employment.
Hairdressing & Beauty Salon
Our hairdressing program teaches cutting, styling, braiding and beauty therapy. Graduates like Babirye Betty now own thriving salons.
Carpentry & Joinery
Practical woodworking skills that enable graduates to make furniture, build structures and earn a sustainable income in their communities.
Welding & Fabrication
Students learn metal welding and fabrication skills — a highly demanded trade that opens doors to employment and self-employment across Uganda.
Catering & Food Production
Students learn food preparation, hygiene, and catering for events and businesses — a skill that creates immediate income opportunities.
Shoe & Sandal Making
A unique and highly practical skill. Graduates produce and sell locally made shoes and sandals, earning a reliable income in their communities.
Motorcycle Mechanics
Students learn to repair and maintain motorcycles — one of Uganda’s most in-demand mechanical skills given the popularity of boda bodas.
Motor Vehicle Mechanics
Hands-on mechanical training preparing young men for employment or self-employment in Uganda’s growing transport and automotive sector.
Computer & ICT Training
Basic computer literacy, internet skills and digital training — preparing youth for the modern economy and better employment opportunities.
Knitting & Crocheting
Students learn to knit and crochet clothing, accessories and household items — creating beautiful products they can sell for income
